Calling all Clemson and Carolina fans to Rise Up and Score Big at the Food Bank of Greenwood County’s inagural “Let’s Tackle Hunger” food drive!
COVID-19 may have stopped this year’s game, but we can still have a Clemson vs. Carolina game right here in Greenwood County with the same enthusiasm and vigor!
As our community responds to COVID-19, families are adjusting to a new normal. And for some in our county, that new normal is hunger. That’s why we would like to partner with your clubs to help us Tackle Hunger this holiday season.
Here’s how it works:
The goal is to see which club raises the most food donations to earn the WIN!
You can collect food donations from your club members (and their families and friends) beginning Monday, October 19th – November 29th. ALL food donations from each club will be delivered to the Food Bank on Monday, November 30th by NOON for the official weigh-in. The winning club will receive a trophy they will house until next year’s “Let’s Tackle Hunger” food drive.
Note: If it’s more efficient to drop off the food weekly, we can accommodate that too. A receipt of the pounds collected will be given at the time of each drop off.
Can we count on you to partner with us in this endeavor to Tackle Hunger, together? We have no doubt that you all will Rise Up and Score Big for Greenwood County.
Let’s Tackle Hunger, TOGETHER!
